Console Minecraft players faced severe platform restrictions preventing them from easily joining third-party servers or using custom texture packs. To solve this, I visually conceptualized the BedrockConnect mobile application and built a comprehensive UI/UX and corporate design system, enabling over a million players across PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch to connect seamlessly in under two minutes.
Branddesign, UX/UI

Project Overview
Client: BedrockConnect / GKM Interactive
Industry: Gaming, Mobile SaaS, Networking
My Role: Lead UI/UX & Corporate Identity Designer
Fundamental Problem
Console editions of Minecraft Bedrock Edition restrict players from entering custom server IPs or running custom texture packs without complex, technical workarounds like manual DNS tweaks or local proxy setups. The app needed an ultra-intuitive visual framework and accessible design language that translated complex network pairing into a effortless, consumer-friendly mobile experience.
Solution
I conceptualized the visual experience for the cross-platform app on iOS and Android and developed a cohesive corporate identity:
Brand Identity & Systems: Designed a distinct logo, color palette, and visual brand assets tailored to the gaming community.
UI/UX Architecture: Designed an intuitive 3-step setup flow ("Download, Pick Server, Play"), featuring featured server directories, custom IP entry fields, and automated resource pack status indicators.
Product Consistency: Built a scalable UI system optimized for fluid dark-mode aesthetics, ad integration spaces, and premium feature showcases.
Impact
Supported the growth of BedrockConnect into the leading console-bridge utility for Minecraft, scaling to over 1,000,000+ downloads, 60,000+ active monthly users, and a 4.5-star store rating across iOS and Android.
